Play Shed Puzzles - a new, vibrant and eco-friendly range of children's jigsaw puzzles is now available in our Didsbury toy shop

Here at Giddy Goat Toys we do our best to try to support other Manchester based businesses as well as other small businesses.  It's lovely to meet and work with local authors, designers and businesses, all of whom are passionate about what they do and the books or products that they produce and it's fantastic to be able to showcase these products in our shop and on our website and offer something different and unique to the larger high street toy stores or supermarkets and, as small businesses are the backbone of our economy and collectively account for over 5 million of the UK's businesses and employ over 12 million people, supporting small businesses and entrepreneurs is good for the national UK economy too.

We were recently approached by Manchester based entrepreneur Jacqueline Buckland and asked if we wanted to stock the range of children's jigsaw puzzles which she has produced.  Jacqueline is the creative genius behind Play Shed Puzzles and has produced a number of vibrant and colourful children's jigsaw puzzles.  As well as being visually attractive the puzzles are all created and manufactured in Britain using 100% recycled board, chlorine-free paper and vegan inks, making them kind to our planet too.  There are a number of different designs, all have 48 pieces making them ideal for 4-6 year olds and, as this is the age when children are often going to at least one birthday party a week, they make ideal unique party presents.

It's a rare thing indeed to find toys that are actually made in Britain, but Play Shed's puzzle proudly carry the 'Made in Britain' logo on them meaning you can be assured that the carbon footprint on these lovely little puzzles is as low as possible and we deliver our online orders via the Royal Mail's tracked parcels services, which utilises their well established postal network rather than courier vans.
