The Playmobil Movie, which is released on the 9th August, looks set to be one of the hit children's films during the 2019 summer holiday.  It's an animated film whose central character, Marla, embarks on the adventure of a lifetime when her younger brother Charlie suddenly disappears into the magical, animated universe of PLAYMOBIL®.

Marla sets off to bring him home, embarking on an incredible journey through new and exciting themed worlds in which she teams up with various strange and heroic companions, including Del, a crazed food truck driver; Rex Dasher, a suave and fearless secret agent; a loyal and endearing robot; a hilarious fairy-godmother and many others!

Featuring a stellar cast which includes Daniel Radcliffe as the voice of Rex Dasher as well as the voices of Adam Lambert and Meghan Trainor, Have a look at what's in store by viewing the trailor below.

To complement the film, Playmobil have brought out a fantastic range of Playsets and Toys.  There are three sets with our heroine Marla - Marla with Horse, Marla and Del with Flying Horse and Marla in the Fairytale Castle, plus two sets with Rex Dasher - Rex Dasher with Parachute plus the very awesome Rex Dasher with Porsche, plus also Del's Food Truck, Emporer Maximus in the Colosseum, Robotitron with Drone and Charlie with Prison Wagon.

Children can recreate their favourite scenes from the film and have great fun with the sets and of course, they can be added to existing Playmobil toys for lots of fun imaginative play.
